Our Delivery Service

We are pleased to offer a delivery service, which we hope you will find both efficient and convenient. Whilst we always try to cooperate with customers requests, unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee deliveries on specific days or at specific times. We respectfully draw your attention to the following points and terms & conditions.

 
 
Do we deliver...? Yes we do, our delivery areas and charges are based on your postcode and the type of service required to deliver your goods.
 
Which days do we deliver...? When you place your order we will book you the next most convenient day available according to the delivery service required.
 
What time do we deliver...? We deliver between 8am & 6pm everyday.
 
Can I specify a morning delivery...? For an additional £10 our Pre 10am service guarantees your delivery between the hours of 8am & 10am.
What happens next...? The evening before your delivery you will receive a text or phone call confirming your estimated time of delivery (AM or PM).
 
One man will deliver any small boxed items or bouquets to the front door* and any small horticultural goods to the front garden or kerbside.
 
(Plants, pots, bouquets, etc...)
*The Customer must be present at the point of delivery to sign for the goods.
Two men will deliver any large horticultural and landscaping goods to the front garden or kerbside.
 
(Large shrubs, 6ft fence panels, waterfall sections etc...)
*The Customer must be present at the point of delivery to sign for the goods.
We will deliver any furniture items to the ground floor of the property*.
 
(Furniture sets, BBQ’s, loungers etc...)
*The Customer must be present at the point of delivery to sign for the goods.
A HGV lorry with a crane will deliver any heavy goods to the kerbside or to the front garden if it is safe to do so. Bagged goods of 12 or more will be delivered on a pallet.
(Bulk bags, sleepers, 12+ bags etc...)
 
Our Delivery Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Amendments
•Any cancellation requires no less than 48 hours notice before the delivery date.
•Any cancellations of Non Stock items will incur a 20% re-stocking charge which will be deducted from any customer refund.
•Any additional items or amendments require no less than 24 hours notice, please note additional charges may apply.

Delivery Service & Access
•Items being delivered by our One Man or Two Man service will be off loaded to the kerbside or front garden of your property.
•Items being delivered by Furniture service will be off loaded to the kerbside, front garden or to the ground floor of your property.
•Items being delivered by our “HGV Crane Lorries” will be off loaded to the kerbside or front garden if it is safe to do so.
•If the delivery address on your receipt is incorrect and the goods are delivered to the wrong address the customer will be liable for additional delivery charges.
•If in the opinion of our driver the ground or access over which delivery or unloading is required seems unsuitable for safe passage the driver may refuse to deliver the goods or will only deliver to the nearest accessible point. If the delivery needs to be re-arranged because of this the customer will be liable for additional re-delivery charges.
•If the goods being delivered require a signature but there is nobody to provide one at the point of delivery the goods may be taken back to Woodcote Green and re-scheduled for another day but will incur a re-delivery charge.
•It is the customer’s responsibility to receive and check the goods, once delivered the customer accepts responsibility for all goods. Any shortages or defects must be reported to Woodcote Green within 24 hours.

Times and Days
•Delivery times & days are approximate and can not be guaranteed. Woodcote Green can not be held responsible for any losses or labour costs incurred by the customer or his/her agent waiting for goods to arrive.

Returns
•Any returns made to the store are subject to our in store “Returns Policy”. If you require any items to be collected then a collection charge will apply.
•Non stock items can not be returned unless the collection is within the published
Woodcote Green delivery area, the goods are in the original packaging (untouched) and in the same location where the goods were originally delivered. This will incur a 20% re-stocking charge, plus a collection charge which will be deducted from any customer refund.

Pallets & Packaging
•It is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of and recycle all pallets & packaging. Woodcote Green do not offer a recycling or disposal service.

The management retain the right to refuse delivery on any item at any time without prior notice. Any error or
omission in this policy shall be subject to correction provided that the correction does not materially affect the policy. Updated: March 2017

Direct Delivery Service 
 
We are also pleased to offer (in store only) a direct delivery service from our suppliers, which we hope you will find both efficient and convenient. This service is provided by our suppliers who use courier companies to deliver the goods.
